This is a landmark issue wherein after 22 difficult years ‘Chinha’ materialized as a true art magazine.

In the journey so far, the 12th issue of Chinha proved to be a landmark. Though the publishing ceremony was held at the unknown venue of the Thane Corporation’s newly built Thane Kala Bhavan, artists and art-lovers thronged from near and far alike – Mumbai, Pune, Nasik, Aurangabad, Jalgaon, and Amaravati. The issue’s four colour printing on art paper thrilled the art lovers. The ceremony was held at the hands of well-known artist Sudhir Patwardhan, presided by the Thane Corporation Commissioner Nandkumar Jantre; and the Chief speaker was famous artist Prabhakar Kolate.
