His surroundings are humble, as he lives with his loving grandparents and within the confines of extremely limited resources. However, it is his profound passion for art that captivates and astonishes us all.
Despite the challenges he faces, Alok’s unwavering determination and commitment to his craft can propel him to great heights in the realm of artistry. In the enchanting world of a children’s art gallery, it is not customary for ‘Chinha’ to provide a note. We firmly believe that children express their thoughts and perspectives about art in their own language.

My name is Alok Vitthal Shelar. I am a disabled person, but I aspire to overcome my physical limitations and disabilities. My goal is to achieve something meaningful in life, earn a living, and prove myself. My passion lies in art, which I love deeply and want to pursue as a career.
I have some knowledge and skills in the field of art, which I have been cultivating for the past seven years. I have dedicated myself to improvisation, as it allows me to express myself and learn at a rapid pace. Consequently, I have chosen painting as my medium of expression and work.
The sheer joy I experience while learning and practising art brings immense happiness to my mind. It has enriched my life. Rather than focusing on what is lacking in my life, I have learned to concentrate on utilizing the resources available to me and strive towards achieving my full potential. This positive mindset fuels my determination.
