Dipali Deshpande, an engineer by profession, chose a different path instead of following a conventional career trajectory. While she could have held a senior position in a multinational company and worked a typical 9-to-5 job, Dipali had a different vision. The plight of women in these tribes was particularly distressing.
Motivated by this realization, Dipali decided to make a difference in the lives of these tribals. Thus, she founded the ‘Our Mission Glory’ Foundation, dedicated to the development and upliftment of tribal communities. But Dipali’s ambition didn’t end there. When asked about her inspiration to venture outside the traditional path, Dipali explains, “When I meet these tribal women, their innocence resonates with me. Initially, my primary purpose in visiting was to explore art, but as I spent more time with these women and learned about their circumstances, I felt a strong desire to help them. Although I assist them through the Taurean Trend brand, the truth is that this work brings me pure joy.”
“At first, I encountered difficulties in building relationships with these women. They were hesitant to open up to me. However, as I embraced their customs, shared meals, and engaged in conversations, they made me feel at home. Today, they consider me a part of their family, and this brings me immense happiness.” Dipali cherishes the love she receives from these women as her most precious treasure.
