Hobby Course at JJ – applications are invited

Mumbai, Maharashtra – Sir J J School of Art has announced the Hobby Course Program 2023-24, offering art enthusiasts a chance to pursue their passion and learn various art forms. This program aims to provide working professionals and seniors with an opportunity to study art under the guidance of experienced instructors.

Eligibility for the program requires applicants to have passed the 10th and  Standard/Intermediate Grade Exam. The merit list will be decided only on the basis of the applicant’s seniority and then (INSTEAD OF THE) marks obtained in their SSC mark sheet.

The program offers limited seats in a range of art courses, including Painting, Portrait Painting, Print Making, Landscape Painting, Ceramic, and Metal. The complete course fees for the program are Rs. 6,000/-, with an additional form fee of Rs. 20/-.

Application forms for the program can be obtained offline from July 3rd to July 20th, 2023, between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm. Completed application forms can be submitted from July 5th to July 21st, 2023, during the same hours. The merit list will be published on July 28th, 2023, at 4:00 pm.

The program is scheduled to commence on August 1st, 2023, and conclude on January 31st, 2024. Classes will be held two days per week from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

Participants are required to maintain a minimum of 75% attendance throughout the program, and completion of 75% of the assigned course projects is mandatory.
