Warli Painting Workshops!
Nashik – 3rd October
Two Training Workshops on Warli style of painting will be conducted at Nashik, before this Diwali. The first workshop will cover Basic Warli painting style on 7th November. An Advanced Warli painting will be held on 8th November. Interested persons can learn the technique of Warli painting in a day and enjoy the joy of creating art instantly.
In the basic workshop, training will be given in painting on paper and in the advanced workshop, painting will be done on cloth and clay pot. Sanjay Deodhar, a journalist and expert in Warli painting style, will be the guide. Boys and girls above 10 years of age, as well as art lovers of all ages can take paid admission to the workshop. Aspirants should take advantage of this workshop which will be held before Diwali. All necessary materials, English / Marathi notes and certificate will be given to the participants. Admission is limited and registration is required.
Location of training workshops: Sonia Apartment, Indrakund, Panchvati, Nashik during 11 am to 4 pm.
