‘Art for Hope 2024’: Grant Program by Hyundai Motor India Foundation

Hyundai Motor India Foundation has unveiled their 3^rd edition of ‘Art for Hope’ Grant program. The program aims at supporting and uplifting artists in the post-pandemic era. Launched in 2021 during Hyundai’s 25^th year in India, the initiative is now an annual program. It focuses on aiding youth, women, rural artists, and those dedicated to environmental, social, or community-centric themes, as well as reviving fading art forms.

The grant distribution includes 25 grants of Rs 1 Lakh each for individual artists and teams, 5 grants of Rs 2 Lakh each for art collectives, and 10 grants of Rs 50,000 each, paired with exclusive upskilling and artist management programs for specially-abled artists.

Artists working in visual arts, digital arts, performance arts, community arts, folk, and traditional arts are encouraged to apply through the website www.hyundaiartforhope.com.

The application deadline is 3^rd December, 2023.

Selection will be based on the concept, community benefit, the scope of artist growth, and background. Selected artists will have 6-9 weeks to complete their projects, with the final display scheduled for March 2024.
