‘Art for Hope 2024’: Grant Program by Hyundai Motor India Foundation

Hyundai Motor India Foundation has unveiled their 3rd edition of ‘Art for Hope’ Grant program. The program aims at supporting and uplifting artists in the post-pandemic era. Launched in 2021 during Hyundai’s 25th year in India, the initiative is now an annual program. It focuses on aiding youth, women, rural artists, and those dedicated to environmental, social, or community-centric themes, as well as reviving fading art forms.
The grant distribution includes 25 grants of Rs 1 Lakh each for individual artists and teams, 5 grants of Rs 2 Lakh each for art collectives, and 10 grants of Rs 50,000 each, paired with exclusive upskilling and artist management programs for specially-abled artists.
Artists working in visual arts, digital arts, performance arts, community arts, folk, and traditional arts are encouraged to apply through the website www.hyundaiartforhope.com.
The application deadline is 3rd December, 2023.
Selection will be based on the concept, community benefit, the scope of artist growth, and background. Selected artists will have 6-9 weeks to complete their projects, with the final display scheduled for March 2024.
