‘Confessions Into Thin Air’ by Barun Chowdhury

MEC Art Gallery in New Delhi is currently hosting ‘Confessions Into Thin Air,’ a mesmerizing solo exhibition by the acclaimed artist Barun Chowdhury. With a robust artistic background spanning 25 years and a Master of Fine Arts in Graphics from M.S. University, Baroda, Chowdhury’s exhibition showcases a rich tapestry of his early prints, seamlessly blending carving, painting, and drawing.

Trained at the Govt. College of Art and Craft, Kolkata, Chowdhury’s prints delve into the intersection of autobiography and fiction, creating a captivating bridge between the two realms. The exhibition reveals printmaking as a transformative process, where stability gives way to accidents and transience, inviting viewers to contemplate the intricate layers of meaning.
