Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarship 22-23

New Delhi, July 5, 2023 – The Ministry of Culture, Government of India, has announced the opening of applications for the prestigious Lalit Kala Akademi Scholarships for the year 2022-23. These scholarships are aimed at supporting young and upcoming artists between the ages of 21 and 35 in the field of visual arts.

Selected scholars will receive a monthly grant of Rs. 20,000 for a duration of twelve months. The scholarship covers various disciplines, including Sculpture, Painting, Ceramic, Print Making, Art History, Art Criticism, Arts Management, Art Curation and Documentation, and Photography, among others. Scholars will be required to work at the Regional Centres of Lalit Kala Akademi.

Interested candidates can download the application form from the official website of Lalit Kala Akademi at www.lalitkala.gov.in or collect it from the office of Lalit Kala Akademi, Rabindra Bhavan, 35 Ferozeshah Road, New Delhi-110001 between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. The application forms are also available at all Regional Centres of the Akademi located in Lucknow, Kolkata, Chennai, Bhubaneswar, Garhi, Shimla, Ahmedabad, and Agartala.
