Mahesh Gore passes away

Nashik, July 19, 2023: The art world was left in shock as the 53-year-old artist, who was based in Nashik, passed away on July 17 due to a sudden heart attack.

Mahesh Gore was an alumnus of Abhinav Kala Mahavidyalaya (Pune), where he pursued his education in applied arts between 1989 and 1993. Hailing from the town of Sangamner, he had garnered immense respect and admiration in the art community for his exceptional skills in illustration. He was one of the founding members of the famous Nashik Misal Club. This Club is dedicated to landscape painting and other art forms.

Throughout his illustrious career, Gore remained deeply rooted in Nashik, where he thrived as a prolific freelance artist, lending his artistic talents to numerous corporates and esteemed organizations. His creative vision and unique style left a lasting impression on those who had the privilege to view his artworks.

The news of his sudden departure has left fellow artists, patrons, and art enthusiasts heartbroken, who fondly remember him as a source of inspiration and a guiding light in the local art scene.
