Renowned Sculptor Sunil Deore’s latest exhibition at Nehru Centre Art Gallery offered a visual feast for art enthusiasts 17th to 20th November, 2023. Sunil Deore embarked on his artistic journey as a student at Sir JJ School of Art at Mumbai in 1989 and furthered his art education at the Aurangabad School of Art in 1995. Completing his focused studies in sculpture, he honed his craft at the JJ School of Art.
Sunil Deore has earned widespread acclaim, securing numerous national and international awards, among them the prestigious Indira Gandhi Sadbhavana Award. His artistic prowess has transcended borders, with exhibitions held across the globe, from London and Dubai to Abu Dhabi and the United States.
Notably, Deore stands as the creator of the national emblem sculpture for the newly constructed Sansad Bhavan, a testament to his significant contributions to public art and national symbolism.
