A Mythological Journey: ‘Pouranik’

26th July, Indore – Step into the enchanting world of mythological tales, where age-old stories come alive through mesmerizing paintings, as the exhibition ‘Pouranik’ by Rohit Joshi unveils its artistic wonders. The exhibition, which commenced on the 22nd of July, will be on display until the 22nd of August at the prestigious Princes Business SkyPark in Indore.

Rohit Joshi is an Indore-based Artist, who completed his art education from the Government Institute of Fine Arts Indore (2018). He got a State award (Jagdeesh Swaminathan) from the Government of Madhya Pradesh in 2021.

India, a land of rich diversity, has beautifully woven mythological stories into vibrant pictures alongside captivating words. Rohit Joshi’s paintings exude innovation within the realm of Indian miniature art, maintaining a profound connection with their subject matter and context. The brilliant amalgamation of colors transports the viewer to the fragrant landscapes of Rajasthan, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu.
