‘Kalaadhish’ at PNG Pune!

‘Kalaadhish – An Art Exhibition’ in association with P N Gadgil & Sons is currently going on at P N Gadgil Art Gallery at Pune. ‘Kalaadhish’ signifies lord Ganesha as the king & Patron of Arts. Ganesha is a popular figure in Indian art, with several myths and legends associated with him, reflecting associated symbolism. Ganesha is a favourite deity of artists who portray him in various forms, poses and even depict him in a range of contemporary situations. ‘Kalaadhish’ exhibition stands testimony to this as one witnesses how Ganesha takes on myriad artistic forms.

The ensemble exhibition ‘Kalaadhish’ by Passion Artists Group is a display of paintings which depicts the different faces, forms, avatars and colours of Lord Ganesha in Water, Pastels, Acrylics, Pencil, Charcoal, fabric, oil, coffee, Digital art and many more capturing the still and moving tones of his highness.

The exhibition was inaugurated by two eminent personalities on 16^th Sept. Shri Tejas Barve – Indian cinema and television actor and Dr Milind Phadke, PhD in Visual arts Ganesha forms, Retd. Fine Arts Professor and an Eminent artist.

In this grand show 62 passionate artists have come together to treat art lovers with a range of visual delight in Abstract, semi-realistic, realistic and composition-based media through their presentation. These 62 artists each have a unique and fresh way of looking at the world and translating their revelation onto paper, canvas, clay, fabric and whatever other materials they find necessary to elucidate and illuminate their interpretation of reality. The Visual journey promises a rich and enchanting showcase of subject at affordable cost.
