Kalanand 2023-24: Annual Art Grants by Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation

Prafulla Dahanukar Art Foundation (PDAF) welcomes artists to Kalanand 2023-24.

Kalanand is an online Grants Program for emerging artists in India, aiming to support the artists who have completed their education or are self-taught and want to pursue their career in the field of art.

The Grant provides financial aid to the selected participants. The grant is awarded in two categories viz. All India Gold Grants – Rs. 50,000/- each, awarded to upto 25 applicants and All India Merit Grants – Rs. 20,000/- each, awarded to upto 50 applicants. Apart from these, Certificate of Recognition (Only certificate, no grant) is awarded to other promising applicants.

Besides the awards, PDAF also gives them recognition. PDAF promotes the artists through their social media portals and website, printed media (yearbooks), and exhibitions (physical and online), simultaneously reaching out to thousands of artists, art connoisseurs and patrons. PDAF sends printed yearbooks of artists and their work (and their contact information) to all the leading art institutes, museums and art galleries nationwide.

The Contest is conducted online and has a reach in all states of India, including Andaman.
