‘Yellow Frog’ at Tulika!

Mumbai – 2nd October

“Art Oozing” – A novel platform for artists is all set to open up their brand new exhibition “Yellow Frog” at Tulika Art Gallery at Lower Parel in Mumbai on 3rd October. It will be inaugurated by eminent artist Dilip Ranade.

This group show will feature 23 visual artists (21 painters and 2 sculptors). While speaking to Chinha Art News, artist Rahul Tukaram Vajale, curator of this show shared his vision. “I have established a platform called “Art Oozing” for artists in India to showcase their work. Our latest show titled ‘Yellow Frog’, holds great significance in the monsoon season. The yellow frog is associated with the monsoon constellations and is believed to bring abundant rainfall, bringing joy to farmers. It is considered a symbol of hope and prosperity, as its croak is believed to be a harbinger of good luck. Just like a small sized male frog, despite the relatively small scale of the “Yellow Frog” group show the artworks presented are diverse and captivating. The artists are a mix of experienced practitioners, and first time exhibitors. Overall, the artworks in this show reflect the artists’ individuality and talent.”

The participating artists are, Aatish Khobragade, Akanksha Patil, Aniket Deshmukh, Anupama Rajesh, Anupama Ramesh, Asha Nair, Chaitan Bhosale, Dhanashree Sawant, Kallpana Waghmare, Kanishka Thopate, Kavita Salunkhe, Kiran Boda, Komal Parmar, Laxman Ahire, Minal Kane, Namrata Dey, Pallavi Pandit, Purnima Walunj, Sagar Kamble, Sayali Waghmare, Shalaka Mohgaonkar, Shrirang Badve and Suvarna Chawande.

“Yellow Frog” is all set to engage art enthusiasts and collectors with its unique theme and the creativity of the participating artists, ensuring that it will be a memorable and captivating exhibition. There is no doubt that it will attract both art connoisseurs and art lovers alike, without any doubts about its ability to showcase excellent artistry and attract art enthusiasts and collectors.
