“Hues” promoting Diversity and Philanthropy

Susheel Martin Foundation, a daycare center for Intellectually challenged children, is currently hosting an art exhibition titled “HUES” at the Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai. The exhibition, which opened on June 20th, features a diverse range of artworks including paintings, sculptures, and prints.

The participating artists include Parag Borse, Ashif Hossain, Satyajeet Varekar, Ratan Saha, Prakash Bal Joshi, Om Swami, Vishwajeet Kumar, Vishal Sabley, Kadambari Mehta, Aparimita Sapru, Chandrakant Phadtare, Varsha Balwani Kukreja, Trapti Badjatiya, Dadasaheb Yadav, P.J. Stalin, Priya llango, Prof. Mansing Katkar, Atul Bhalerao, Maredu Ramu, Shashikant Patade, and Oorna Datta.

The exhibition showcases the vibrant hues and diverse themes inspired by nature, life, landscapes, historical monuments, and the rich cultural heritage of India. The artworks on display capture the emotions and intricate details of the subjects, employing various mediums and styles.

The Susheel Martin Foundation aims to empower Intellectually challenged children from urban slums in Bangalore through education, vocational skills, and integration into society. By organizing this exhibition, the foundation seeks to promote the artists and their artwork while also raising funds for charitable causes. A portion of the sales proceeds from the exhibition will be dedicated to supporting social initiatives.

The exhibition will run until June 26th, with viewing hours from 11 am to 7 pm. The event has attracted notable guests, including Mr. Krishna Hegde, ex-MLA and spokesperson for Shiv Sena, Mr. Prakash Bal Joshi, an eminent artist, Mr. Rajiv Kasat, a renowned architect, Ms. Santoshee Mishra, a documentary filmmaker, and Mr. Nilesh Khare from Zee 24 Taas, among others.
