Program on Printmaking Transformation

The School of Visual Arts at WUD World University of Design is organizing a panel discussion as part of their Professional Development Program on the topic of “Printmaking Transformation in New India.” The event will take place on 27th June 2023, starting from 5:00 PM onwards.

Esteemed panellists including Ananda Moy Benarji, Kanchan Chander, Prayag Shukla, Prachi Sahasrabudhe, and Seema Kohli will participate in the panel discussion. The session will be moderated by Prof Rajan Shripad Fulari, the Dean of the School of Visual Arts at WUD.

The event is being conducted in collaboration with Alliance Française New Delhi and has the support of Prof (Dr) Sanjay Gupta, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of WUD. The venue for the event is the Lalit Kala Akademi, located at 72, KK Birla Ln, Lodhi Gardens, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi.

The panel discussion aims to explore the evolving landscape of printmaking in India and how it reflects the country’s cultural, social, and artistic transformation. The experts will discuss the contemporary trends, techniques, and challenges faced by printmakers, offering insights into the growth and potential of this art form in India.
