Vitthala Devotion Unveiled

As Maharashtra celebrates Ashadhi Ekadashi and immerses in ‘Vitthal Bhakti’, the atmosphere is filled with joy and devotion. An exceptional exhibition titled “Annandachi Vari” offers a unique opportunity to experience the essence of Vitthal devotion. Hosted by PNG Sons Art Gallery, the exhibition showcases the works of over sixty artists, featuring more than two hundred featuring more than 100 paintings in oil, acrylic, watercolour, pencil, charcoal, ball pen, colour pencil, traditional art forms, vitthal carved in watermelon, ringan sculpture created using multi-purpose sealant, Painting on Holy Basil leaf & Burflower-tree leaf, photographs, calligraphy, and forest art all centred around the themes of ‘Wari and Warkari’.

Art enthusiasts can witness this immersive exhibition at three locations: PNG Sons Art Gallery in Aundh, Happy Colony-Kothrud, and Satara Road in Pune. The exhibition, which began on June 27, will continue to captivate visitors until July 2. The artworks depict the paintings of  Vitthala’s devotion in various mediums like acrylic, oil, and paper mache sculpture.

This exhibition is organised by Passion artists group and curatored by Artist Rahul Ranade with support of PNG gallery.
